Welcome to our first English Language Blog!!! In this blog, We going to teach you about using the word am/is/are on sentence. The reasons why we made this blog is because we want to share our English language knowlegde to you, so you can know English language correctly. Also we make this blog, because we need to finish our English My World project.
We using Am/Is/Are if:
- I = Am
- He/She/It = Is
- We/You/They = Are
Example:
- Steve is ill.
- Ann And I are good friends.
- I am cold.
- I + Am = I'm
- He + Is = He's
- She + Is = She's
- It + Is = It's
- We + Are = We're (we are)
- You + Are = You're (you are)
- They + Are = They're (they are)
Example:
- He's in bed.
- You're late again.
- I'm 32 years old.
That you learn previously is a positive form, now is time for learning negative form.
- I + Am not = I'm not
- He + Is Not = He's not or He isn't
- She + Is Not = She's not or She isn't
- It + Is Not = It's not or It isn't
- We + Are Not = We're not or We aren't
- You + Are Not = You're not or You aren't
- They + Are Not = They're not or They aren't
Example:
- I'm not hungry.
- Tom isn't interested in politic.
- Those people aren't English.
